To be eligible for the Euromasters programme you must demonstrate that you can work at the required level in English. We require either:
- IELTS of 6.5 (with no less than 6.0 in each of the four components)
- TOEFL of 90 (with a minimum of 21 in all 4 components)
Certificates must be dated to within two years of the start of the programme of study.
Other Language Requirements
Berlin
At Humboldt University it is possible to study in German (Euromasters-German track) as well as in English (Euromasters-English track). Students have the largest range of options if they can study in both languages. Half of the compulsory classes are taught in English and the other half are offered in German. In consultation with the program directors, it is possible to replace compulsory courses with courses of comparable content in the chosen language from the regular course offerings. In agreement with the teachers, assignments can generally be submitted in German or English, regardless of the course language.
