Euromasters Anniversary Workshop & Reception: Friday, 11 November 2016 in Bath

Please join us in celebrating the anniversary of the  Euromasters programme

Join the Euromaster founders, current staff from across the various sites, alumni and students for an afternoon of reflection on Europe and a friendly get-together to celebrate the lasting success and impact of the course.

Founder of Euromaster, Professor Jolyon Howorth, and long-standing Euromaster Director, Professor Roger Eatwell (amongst other speakers to be confirmed), will lead a panel discussion on the most significant changes and developments in Europe since the course’s birth in the mid-1990s. Talks will focus on reflections on the current turbulent times with rising scepticisms and populism, and on the challenges Brexit poses to the European project.

Professor Jolyon Howorth, founder of Euromaster, is Jean Monnet Professor of European Politics ad personam and Emeritus Professor of European Studies at the University of Bath and Visiting Professor of Political Science at Yale since 2002.

Professor Howorth has published extensively in the field of European politics and history, especially security and defence policy and transatlantic relations.

Eatwell

Professor Roger Eatwell from the University of Bath, was Dean of the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences and for many years acted as Director of Euromaster. He is a prominent expert on right-wing extremism, European political culture and political leadership.

Professor Roger Eatwell & Jolyon Howorth amoungst others, will be speaking at this event and we will be holding a drinks reception afterwards
